Muldrow is a town in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma, United States. It is part of the Fort Smith, Arkansas-Oklahoma Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 3,466 at the 2010 census, an increase of 11.7 percent from 3,104 at the 2000 census.〔(CensusViewer: Population of the City of Muldrow, Oklahoma )〕 The town was named in honor of Henry Lowndes Muldrow, a Mississippi Congressman and personal friend of one of the town's founding fathers. H.L. Muldrow used his influence with the railroad to have a depot located at the townsite. ==Geography== According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of , of which is land and (0.52%) is water.
